Selected for your consideration is a beautiful Japanese Satsuma porcelain belt with 16 panels alternating scallop and heart shapes with a square shape buckle. Each museum quality panel is crafted in brass, topped with porcelain each hand painted with images of Geisha’s protected with crackle glaze. Hallmarked with a “⊕” cross in a circle which is known to be Shimazu. The scallop shaped panels are approximately 1¼ inch across, the heart shaped panels are approximately 1¼ inch wide by 1¼ tall. The buckles 1¾ inch tall by 1⅝ inch wide. This is in beautiful antique condition, images are excellent condition with some rubbing on the edges of the panels, No dents No chips.
