Discover the Hospitality of Biscuits and Bourbon

The name of the restaurant alone probably already has you salivating and for good reason; Biscuits and Bourbon makes some of the best Southern-style biscuits in the whole of Nevada.

When you stop by to eat, you may also notice that this spot calls itself “A Social Kitchen.” Well, that’s because the Henderson natives that founded Biscuits and Bourbon wanted to do more than open up a new restaurant in town. They were also on a mission to revitalize Water Street and bring more customers, as well as jobs, to this part of Henderson.

The owners are proud of their community and seek to help out its members as much as possible, which is why they believe in leading by example and creating an uplifting company culture where employees can have fulfilling jobs and chase their ambitions in the culinary world.

Location: 109 S. Water St., Henderson.

Hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Enjoy Brunch at Kitchen Table

Stop by this “social eatery,” as Kitchen Table has branded itself, to have a dining experience like no other. Henderson chefs Antonio Nunez and Javier Chavez, who founded and own the restaurant, believe in creating a unique social experience for their guests by satisfying their hunger for both delicious meals and great conversation.

The restaurant is only open during the day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for breakfast and lunch. The owners want their guests to become regulars and feel at home here, stopping by to grab a bite before they start their day and enjoying a great lunch before the eatery closes.

Kitchen Table’s menu fuses flavors from cuisines all over the world, with a special emphasis on Mexican flavors and dishes. You can also enjoy your brunch on the charming patio on a beautiful day.

There is a reason that numerous local and national publications have named Kitchen Table one of the best brunch spots in not only Henderson but all of Las Vegas. Go and check out what all the fuss is about, and we guarantee you will leave with a smile on your face.

Location: 1716 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Suite 100, Henderson.

Hours: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday through Monday.

Experience Authentic Italian Flavors at Trattoria Rustica

From delicious pizzas to caprese salads and cannelloni, Trattoria Rustica serves up some truly mouthwatering authentic tastes of Italy. That may be because the family that owns it hails from southern Italy and wants to bring the flavors of their home country to customers in Nevada.

Customers love the option of building their own pizza, although both the Margherita and Calabrese pizzas are incredibly popular options as well. You will also find an array of fresh pasta dishes, such as linguine pesto and spaghetti carbonara, as well as modern twists on Italian dishes, including lobster ravioli.

Trattoria Rustica is a great dining destination for the whole family as well, as the owners helpfully provide a kid’s menu with delicious Italian specialties such as chicken Milanese and fried mozzarella balls, suited in taste and portion sizes to children’s preferences.

On your next Henderson outing, drop by to experience a true taste of Italian cuisine and hospitality at Trattoria Rustica.

Location: 639 N. Stephanie St., Henderson.

Hours: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday, and closed Mondays.

Splurge on Upscale Food and Cocktails at Boom Bang

Based on the name alone, you can probably tell that Boom Bang is going to be a fun time. This restaurant advertises itself as offering “fine foods and cocktails” to its customers, and it definitely lives up to that name.  It is owned by former Top Chef contestant Elia Aboumrad-Page, her husband, Christian Page, and Tony Angotti.

The continental menu offers European flavors, heavily favoring French and Italian cuisine, as well as a huge selection of spirits, craft beers, and delicious wines. Try specialties like the mushroom carpaccio, steak frites, or buccatini bolognese.

If you’re not in the mood for a big meal, drop by for happy hour and order some small bites or one of the many thin crust pizzas available while testing the restaurant’s incredible cocktails. The Hemingway Daiquiri and Siesta are both customer favorites, though you can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu.

The atmosphere at Boom Bang is funky and earthy, with green and plant-like accents on the walls, including cactus wallpaper. If the sun is shining, head outside to the brightly colored patio to enjoy a meal in the great outdoors.

Location: 75 S. Valle Verde, Suite 160, Henderson.

Hours: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday for brunch. Happy hour is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.
