7 Unique Spas in Henderson

Henderson, Nevada, has excellent shopping, special events, and outdoor activities for a fun staycation. You can also relax and indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment. Here are some of the best, most unique spas in the area.

Lapis & Oak

Henderson Spa Treatment

The Lapis & Oak Spa and Salt Lounge offers group sessions, couples sessions, custom packages, and more. It has a tranquil atmosphere, and you can enjoy a massage, scrub, facial, or face mask. The HydroFacial combines chemical peels, hydrodermabrasion, antioxidants, and oxygen therapy to help your skin look smooth and bright. The Salt Lounge uses pharmaceutical-grade salt and a custom halogenerator. While you relax in a comfortable chair, tiny dry salt aerosols circulate through the room, penetrating your skin and air passages, boosting your immune system, and improving your breathing. People sometimes call salt therapy halotherapy.

Location: 615 S. Green Valley Parkway, Suite 120, Henderson, Nevada.

Hours: Weekdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

IMR Float

Integrative Muscular Rehab (IMR) Float offers float sessions in private pools with mineral-rich salt water. The salt makes floating easy, and the tanks are spacious and elegant. The largest one can hold a couple, and float therapy is ideal for athletes. The staff at IMR Float tests the water’s pH and temperature regularly to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

The IMR Float also has a fire and ice room with a sauna that reaches 200 degrees Fahrenheit and a cold plunge that’s about 50 degrees. Going into the tub of cold water after the sauna releases endorphins, which reduces inflammation and alleviates muscle and joint pain. It can also improve your alertness and focus.

Location: 10870 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 103, Henderson, Nevada.

Hours: Appointments are required, and you can visit from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Tuesday. The IMR Float is closed Wednesday.

Green Valley Ranch Spa & Salon by Well & Being has 22 private treatment rooms and a private pool that’s ideal for hosting events with friends or coworkers. With any of them, you can add a collagen eye, lip, or full-face mask, micropolish, LED light therapy, or an enzyme peel.

The Himalayan salt stone massage uses warm stones and pink Himalayan salt to soothe sore muscles and remove toxins from your body. A hot stone massage without salt is available as well. To rest and relax, choose the Green Valley Ranch recovery massage. It comes with a blend of sweet orange, patchouli, lavender, rosemary, lemongrass, and cypress to help you reduce stress.
