7 Best Staycation Spots to Check Out in Las Vegas

More than 41 million tourists visit Las Vegas every year. With so many tourists, an abundance of hotels and short-term rentals is a necessity; the locals like to get away for the occasional staycation too. Las Vegas offers vacation rentals to fit any preference.

The 20 largest hotels in the world own properties in Las Vegas, many of which are on the strip. But some travelers prefer an alternative lodging that offers a break from the bright lights. Popular vacation rental companies have made finding an option to the traditional hotel stay — from RV rentals to guest cottage and full home rentals — easier than ever.

With over 150 casinos, Las Vegas is synonymous with gambling. It’s no secret that the lure of money attracts travelers to Las Vegas. But there are a plethora of other activities besides gambling to enjoy in Las Vegas.

Staying in the right rental can make you feel at home after a day of sightseeing adventures. But with so many to choose from, how do you decide?

What Are Some of the Best Places to Stay in Las Vegas?

Las Vegas is synonymous with glamour — fine jewelry, five-star dining, and glitzy hotels. But everyone’s taste is unique. Travelers who prefer privacy might appreciate a whole-house rental, while travelers who would like to mingle might prefer an on-site host as in a guest house rental.

Las Vegas offers an assortment of alternative rental properties to fit the needs of any traveler. Here are our top seven properties.

1. Stay in 1950s Style

If you appreciate history, consider staying in this 1950s style bungalow, located within driving distance of the Mob Museum and vintage watch shopping. This rental property sleeps four (in two bedrooms) and includes a swimming pool and parking. As a resident of this property, the host lives on-site and is available for your needs. Rental rates range, but a midweek stay runs about $100 a night for one guest, plus taxes, along with cleaning, service, and occupancy fees.

2. Modern Condominium for Rent

After you spend the day shopping, stay in style at this luxurious corporate condominium rental. This rental property’s grounds include a pool and hot tub, gym facilities, a large movie projection screen, and parking. The condominium contains all new appliances and updated furniture, including a California king bed. This rental is just 10 minutes from the Las Vegas strip and 15 minutes from the airport. This rental runs about $114 a night for one guest, plus taxes and fees.

3. Modern and Stylish Full House Rental

This one-story open floor plan house contains four bedrooms and four baths and sits inside a gated community. Just 10 minutes from the strip, it includes an outdoor barbecue, heated swimming pool, beach sand area with firepit, a 100-inch projector movie room, and a gym with mirrors, TV, and a sound system. There are also bikes and skateboards in the garage for guests to use. This property is currently available for rentals with a two- to three-day minimum, and it runs about $928 a night, plus taxes and fees.

4. Boutique Hotel Near the Strip
