7 Best Photo Ops in Las Vegas
Because it’s home to so many incredible sights and exciting experiences, it could be said that any trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, is special. And while Las Vegas boasts many replicas of amazing things from other parts of the world, such as the gondolas of Venice, the Trevi Fountain of Rome, the Sphinx of Egypt, and the Eiffel Tower of Paris, it’s the things you can only find in Las Vegas that are the best photo opportunities that Las Vegas has to offer. Here are seven unique Las Vegas memories you won’t want to miss while visiting Las Vegas.
The Fremont Street Experience
It’s hard to find something more visually stunning than the largest video screen in the world, especially when it’s suspended over an entire city street as a canopy of dazzling light and sound. That’s exactly what you’ll find at the Fremont Street Experience and why you won’t want to miss getting a picture your friends and family will find hard to believe. The staggering size of the overhead screen is the length of five football fields, and it displays incredible shows at regular intervals. But be prepared to navigate through crowds — an average day’s attendance is over 25,000 people.

The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign
One of the most famous signs in the world is the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada” sign that can be found at the south end of the glittering Las Vegas Strip. The sign has been a city icon since 1959 and has appeared in countless advertisements, movies, and TV shows, and it even found its way onto the State of Nevada’s Las Vegas Centennial license plates in 2005.
The unmistakable design has been so iconic that the sign was added to the State Register of Historic Places in 2013. Nothing quite says “Las Vegas” like a picture with this sign to show family and friends.

The Bellagio Hotel Fountains
You wouldn’t expect to find one of the most impressive fountains in the world right in the middle of a desert, but the Bellagio Hotel went to great efforts to create an incredible water feature that uses over a thousand powerful fountain jets to generate magical water shows in front of their hotel.
Synchronized to music and lights, the water can dance all the way up to 460 feet in the air. The fountains area is so big that there are great views from many angles, but the walkway opposite the hotel is the best place to capture each show’s unique design.

The Neon Signs of the Fremont East District
There’s a fine art to neon signs, and you’ll find some of the very best of neon art in the classic signs that run down the sides — and especially the center — of East Fremont Street in the Fremont East District located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. The bright glow of these neon lights represents the glamorous vintage era of Las Vegas that began all the way back in the early 1900s. Of course, getting a picture of them at night is going to be the best way you can capture their incredibly vibrant designs.

The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
Breathtaking is the only word that can describe what you’ll find in the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. The 14,000-square-foot gardens are carefully designed and tended by teams of horticulturalists and engineers to create truly stunning displays that you don’t have to be a gardener to appreciate. The spectacular themes in the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens change to represent the seasons of the year, and there’s also a Lunar New Year theme at the beginning of each year that celebrates calendars from other cultures. You don’t want to miss capturing these botanical tributes to the natural world.

The High Roller Ferris Wheel
You’ll feel like you’re on top of the world when you’re getting a few stunning shots of the view from 550 feet off the ground while riding the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. The High Roller Ferris Wheel, operated by Caesar’s Palace Hotel, has 28 cabins with 360-degree views that you’ll be sharing with others. And count on it taking a little bit of time — the trip to go up and come down again takes half an hour. The ride charges for admission, and you’ll need to make a reservation, but it’ll be well worth it.

The Top of the World Restaurant in the SkyPod
The SkyPod is an amazing tower in the Strat Hotel, which has an award-winning restaurant perched at its top. Not only will you be drinking and dining from the menu of the Top of the World restaurant, but you’ll also be seated at a table that’s more than 1,000 feet above the ground on a floor that rotates 360 degrees every 80 minutes, giving you a view of, well, everything in Las Vegas.
This ultimate romantic venue isn’t for tight budgets, but if you capture the moment when you sweep someone off of their feet, it might just be worth it.
